Learn and obtain tickets in the use of various earth moving equipment such as skid steer and excavators in 5, 10 and 15 tonne machinery.  Will be trained to obtain MR licence.  Locations include Pennant Hills , St Marys and Padstow.
  • Smithfield:  A small host with a young team are looking for a 1st year apprentice.  Work is mostly residential on new properties and replacement and renovation of existing blocks.  Lots of variety, locations include Kemps Creek, Penrith and Campbelltown. Apprentices would be involved in learning various hand tools and equipment, Operating / working at heights, installing roof drainage components and external flashings & installing various roof sheeting profiles. This apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to earn while you learn, working Monday to Friday. We are looking for candidates who are under 21, committed and enthusiastic about commencing or recommencing an apprenticeship in Roof Plumbing and who possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good manual dexterity
  • High level of motivation,
  • The ability to follow instructions
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Possess good time management skills
  • Car and Licence Required
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency
  The successful applicant must be available for immediate start. These positions are full time (38 hours per week). Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply, with relevant training provided. Successful applicants’ will be paid under the Plumbing and Fire Sprinklers Award 2020.
