Essential Attributes

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Keen to learn and develop practical trade skills
  • Reliable, punctual and committed to their work
  • Physically capable of performing the duties of a hands-on construction role, with reasonable adjustments where applicable
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Able to follow instructions and workplace health and safety procedures
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Prepared to attend TAFE and complete the requirements of the apprenticeship

Desirable Attributes

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

  • A genuine interest in landscaping, construction or another building trade
  • A current White Card, or willingness to obtain one before commencing site work

  • Previous labouring, gardening, landscaping or construction experience
  • Completion of Year 11 or Year 12
  • Experience using hand tools or power tools

School leavers, juniors and career starters are encouraged to apply. No previous trade experience is required.

  • Fee-free TAFE training, subject to eligibility
  • On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced landscape professionals
  • Hands-on experience across a variety of commercial projects
  • A supportive team environment
  • The opportunity to gain a Certificate III in Landscape Construction
