Our Story
The Australian Training Company (ATC) is an innovative, not-for-profit charitable organisation established in 1994 to create employment, education and training opportunities through Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
Originally established as the Australian Rugby League Group Training Company, ATC initially focused on helping young footballers develop skills and gain qualifications for life beyond sport. Since then, we have expanded to support a broader range of industries, employers and learners.
In 1998, ATC became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), responding to growing demand for flexible, industry-relevant training. Today, our Group Training and RTO operations work together to help individuals build skills, gain nationally recognised qualifications and develop meaningful career pathways.
Having supported more than 20,000 apprentices, trainees and students nationally, ATC remains committed to delivering quality training, supporting employers and creating opportunities for people to reach their potential. ATC is also accredited against the Quality Standards for Group Training Organisations.
Our purpose is simple: to create opportunities through employment, education and training, helping people build the skills and confidence to succeed.
