Certificate III Parks & Gardens Apprenticeship

Australian Training Company (ATC) is currently on the search for a dynamic Parks and Gardens Apprentice to join our award-winning client organisation.

This organisation focuses on the design, construction, and maintenance of high quality Commercial outdoor spaces – from low maintenance to more complex high-end around the Brisbane District.

So, what duties can you expect to do in your apprenticeship?

• General Groundskeeping Duties
• Planting and Garden Design
• Installation and care of plants and horticultural Displays
• Learn to cultivate plants
• Pruning, mulching and weed control
• Operating specialised machinery and equipment
• Maintain turf and irrigation systems
• Maintain trees, shrubs and flowers
• Coordinate planting

 What are we looking for?

• An enthusiastic person with a genuine interest in learning
• Well-presented and polite- you will be one of the many faces of our business
• Previous experience is desirable
• Has a passion for working in this Industry
• Someone that wants a career- not just a job
• Someone who is highly consistent and reliable
• Someone that can handle physical tasks

 What will you need?

• WHS White Card
• Drivers licence and own car
