Jazzmyn’s Story
Jazzmyn was a year 11 student when she decided school was not for her.
She was unsure of which career pathway she wanted to follow and turned to ATC for some advice. Jazzmyn had been working in retail whilst at school and possessed excellent customer service skills and was proficient using computers at school and was a highly organised person. With these attributes a Business traineeship was the perfect answer for her!
Jazzmyn went on to work in a busy office environment where she completed a Certificate III in Business traineeship. This enabled Jazzmyn to learn all aspects of working in a business administration environment and come away with not only a qualification, but a wealth of hands-on work experience. Jazzmyn started in the area of reception where she managed a busy phone system and provided excellent customer service and administration support to management.
Jazzmyn was such an asset to the company after completing her 12 month traineeship, they invited her to do a Diploma in Business traineeship where she was trained in other aspects of the business. The important functions Jazzmyn learnt during her Diploma in Business included policies and procedures, accounts, payroll and marketing. Jazzmyn successfully completed her Diploma with the company and has now secured a full-time position in the payroll department.
