Undertaking this two year traineeship will give you the opportunity to become qualified in warehousing and earn why you learn by undertaking a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations.
This traineeship is applicable to general warehouse duties such as:
- Stock locating
- Stock maintenance
- Stock replacements
- Order checking and dispatch
Skills to be obtained and utilised include, undertaking routines and procedures with accountability for accuracy and legibility of self-generated workplace documentation.
Duties are undertaken whilst under direct supervision and may involve manual handling tasks and working with others.
This position is located in Bowen Hills where you will be hosted with an organisation that provides Incident Response and Maintenance Services.
Our ideal candidate will possess great interpersonal skills, and be able to show initiative whilst working in a team environment, they will possess good computer skills, be a motivated and focused individual with a willingness to learn and want to commence a career in warehousing. Applicants must have a current White Card (Construction Card) and be eligible for a Police Check.
The successful applicant must be available for immediate start. This position is full time (38 hours per week) with the potential for some shift work. Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply, with relevant training provided. Successful applicants’ will be paid under the National Training Wage Award.
Those with qualifications of Certificate III or above (including university graduates) need not apply.
