We are looking for an apprentice to complete a 4 year apprenticeship in Horticulture (Parks and Gardens) Certificate III.


A position is available in the North Sydney area for the maintenance and upkeep of local parks and gardens.  Initially will be planting, pruning and maintaining trees.  Will rotate with various teams learning various plant species, botanical names of plants, weed identification, grasses, garden maintenance, mowing, identifying soils and other related duties.


Public transport is available, drivers licence preferred.  Hours are Monday to Friday 6.45am to 3.45pm with a rostered day off each fortnight.


The successful applicant should have a genuine interest in this trade, willing to learn and able to take instruction.  Must also be well presented for public contact.


TAFE is for 2.5 years at Ryde, no TAFE fees and TAFE is a paid work day.
