Great career opportunity to complete a 4 year apprenticeship in Horticulture (Parks and Gardens) Certificate III.
You will learn all aspects of garden and lawn maintenance. Duties include mowing lawns both ride on and push mowers, edging, planting, hedging, pruning, identifying soils and plants, irrigation systems, new gardens and other related duties. Most work is in Hills, north west and norther suburbs, but will start the day from Castle Hill.
Drivers licence and own transport preferred or able to get to Castle Hill. Must be willing to learn and able to take instruction. Successful applicant will be well presented for public contact. Must be fit for physical work. TAFE is for 2.5 years, no fees and TAFE is a paid work day.
Hours are Monday – Friday 6.45am –4.00pm. Some overtime may be required.
