A reputable commercial landscaping company with projects in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane are looking for a 2nd or 2rd year apprentice to join their expanding team in the Hunter region. This is a great career opportunity to learn many building skills including carpentry, horticulture, stonemasonry, bricklaying and many more trades. Including the renovation of parks, playground areas, commercial ground, civil works and streetscape. Will learn to use various earth moving equipment including skid steer, excavators and cranes.   Initially most work is at Wallsend, then moving to future commercial developments in the Hunter region.   Requirements:
  • Drivers Licence (not Ls)
  • Own transport
  • White Card
  • Must be fit for physical work
  TAFE is for 3 years and is a paid work day – no fees.   • Epping:  Transforming high end residential properties, great opportunity to learn varied skills.  Each property is very different and will be trained in all aspects of these property renovations.  Training is in stone work, building decks, barbeque areas and more.
  • Harrington Park:  A small host with a young team are looking for a 1st year apprentice. Work is mostly residential on new properties and replacement and renovation of existing blocks.  Lots of variety, locations include Harrington Park, Windsor and lower mountains. Monday - Friday 7am – 3.30pm, some overtime may be required.
  • Beecroft:  A small team working on residential properties are looking to train a 1st year apprentice. Most work is in the north shore area including Gladesville, Thornleigh and Concord.  Training in pool coping, retaining walls, decking, fencing.
  • Sydney:  Building and renovation of areas such as local parks, Parramatta Square, Barangaroo, Parramatta Ferry Wharf, Sydney Park. Training in use of earthmoving equipment and machinery.
